'L'Orée des Vignes' - B&B /Chambres d'Hôtes We offer you comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in our rural old stone-built home. All of our bed rooms are on the first floor and have en-suite facilities of shower, washbasin and toilet, each has a hairdryer and a hospitality tray for making tea and coffee. Enjoy a breakfast of warm croissants & baguettes, cereals, yogurts, fruit and beverages in our light and airy dining room overlooking the patio, swimming pool and large garden. As we are open all year, all of our rooms have central heating for the winter months. There is ample safe parking close to the house. After a day exploring the beautiful Languedoc countryside, you can relax and unwind with your glass of wine on our south facing patio, or in the shade of the Pagoda tree, overlooking the large garden with views to the west, of the glorious sunsets, and the foothills of the Espinouse. We have a 10m x 5m pool for those looking for a cool dip before evening.
As one half of our partnership, Chris, is a professional artist, his paintings are displayed throughout the house and a further display of his work can be seen on his on line gallery.

'Les Mûriers' - Self Catering Apartment
Our delightful,
first floor, self catering apartment has two spacious bedrooms, one twin
and one double, and each has the luxury of it's own en-suite shower room
with toilet and washbasin and the little personal touch of a hairdryer. There is also a television for use with video and DVDs, a CD/radio player, electric fans and, for the winter months, central heating in all rooms.

Pezenas - The Area Pezenas makes a perfect base for house-hunting or holidaying and discovering all that the beautiful Languedoc/Roussillon region has to offer.The closest Mediterranean beaches are only 25km away at Cap d'Agde and at Vias Plage. A 50 minutes drive will take you to the ancient walled city of Aigues-Mortes and then on into the vast Camargue with its nature reserves. For those seeking active pursuits there are canoeing on the nearby rivers Hérault and the Orb, and sailing on the Bassin de Thau and from Cap d'Agde. In Pezenas you can find a wide selection of antique shops, it is possible to browse for several days without retracing your steps and during the year antique fairs are held on several ocassions and the weekly markets allow purchase of local products. For the golfers there are a number of interesting and picturesque golf courses within easy reach and for the walkers, it would be impossible to list all of the opportunities this wonderful countryside has to offer ! However, heading inland, only 15 kms away, the Monts de l'Espinouse gently rise with their gorges and summits. Heading south, beyond Perpignan, about one hour's driveaway, are the Pyrenees and the border into Spain. For the less ambitious the rolling countryside is dotted with so many little villages steeped in history and character, and easily accessible with only a short drive, and a gentle stroll. On a grander scale, beautiful and lively Montpellier is only 45 minutes drive away. LOrée des Vignes is on the north-eastern side of Pezenas and easy to find. Detailed directions will be given at the time of booking. Ideally located for fly drive holidays,being within 90 minute drive of 5 airports in the South of France which are served by low cost airlines with off peak flights from the UK from as low as £20 per person return.
